Edit: And if I was to say anything about the old vs. new business (as I am about to now) it's that in the old days, you had the benefit of saying that the game was better in the olde days without being immediately labeled as an enemy of the state. 'course, the question never came up. I guess the blue ions just weren't that critical.

There's some continuity between the old and new; For instance, I suspect Fygar is at the heart of the new hive menace.

The promises about the mission system weren't completely false, we just underestimated how long it would take to actually *make* missions. That's what the new editor is for. The mission system itself *is* cool, but taking a month to make a mission is pretty ridiculous.

Anyway, there's a lot in the works. We might have once had a near-perfect, simple game.. and now we have a rather imperfect complex game, but it has a hell of a lot more potential, and we can still shoot for the idea of perfection here as well.

i like the game a lot now you can still fight and hang in sedina b8 but it allso caters to those who want to do other things to, money isent so hard to make(i'm genrily poor but thats becuse i have allways been lazy) plus you don't need as much the special ships don't need 300k or whatever they used to cost, it is a good game now you should give it a go

I *have* gave it a go. There's a light engine I can't buy for my lovely EC88 simply because I haven't gone through combat training.

to get the best battery, FC, you need 4/0/0/4/0 or 2/0/0/2/0 in Corvus space. botting that doesn't reqiure a lot of time, and welcome to the new universe where you need to bot and do stuff to get good stuff.
