Steam VR?
has anyone been able to force Vendetta to open in VR through steamvr? I've tried some launcher command lines but they didn't work for me. -vrmode oculus
Maybe I'm missing a step?

Can it run on Oculus via Link? I used to play with Oculus Go but now I have Quest 2.
It _has_ to be ran via the Oculus store for it to pick up your headset, VR will not work without it. You cannot even use things like Riftcat or Revive to trick VO into thinking you have an Oculus headset, just does not see it. SteamVR/Vive certainly won't work as VO isn't on steam yet. Adding an external game to steam does not magically make it SteamVR compatible either.
I did get somewhere close to getting the client to open with Revive (and the oculus store) but with no video output to the headset, as VO is closed source it is anyone's guess as to why this is the case (well, the developers probably know); the guy who makes Riftcat seems to think it has something to do with the way VO is compiled - seems the .dll that Revive needs to "inject" is built into the games executable (not vendetta.exe, that is just a launcher for .rlb files) so VO will not see the "injected" .dll file that Revive drops (this is conjecture and should be treated as such, it could be anything, fixed paths for looking for game drivers, or a bug with Revive and not VO). I did manage to get the game to launch and detect my headset after many many hours of messing about, but there was only sound and nothing else.
So yeah, if you have a Rift, you must use the store. If you have a GearVR or a Go, then use that devices store and play native. Quest I think can install the GearVR's APK file, but I don't have one so have no idea where you will get it. https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/9/36495 -- if you have any other VR device (including the Quest 2 https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/9/36856 ) then it simply will not work.
