Bluetooth Headphone Not Connecting On iPad

Forgive me if this has already been listed however I was unable to find it out there and I've just started playing. I can't seem to find a way to use my bluetooth headphones (specifically airpods) while playing the game from my iPad. Is there a trick to getting them to be the default sound device? I wasn't able to find anything in the settings either. The sound works fine on headphones as soon as I exit VO, however as soon as I jump back in no dice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

While this doesn't help you, I have the same problem. I don't use airpods, I have an overear headset.

We'll see what we can do to add support for Bluetooth playback. But, fair warning: Bluetooth audio is much more latent (laggy) and will likely be desynchronized from the gameplay action. This is inherent to the mobile Bluetooth stack, OS and devices, and is not the fault of the game.

Thanks for the update and the warning. It would be a cool feature even with a bit of lag. Thanks again.

I think (?) this should be working now, for the iPhone version in TestFlight.

The changes haven't yet been propagated yet to the production iPad version, but should be soon.

The iPhone version is working beautifully! I've been on the TestFlight for a while now and it's definately one of the more polished TestFlight programs I've used. Glad that the iPad version will eventually get bluetooth support as well. Thanks again!
