I paid the subscription and thought my account had properly changed over from free to subscribed...today I found myself locked out and my account still on "lite" status. The original account name was "Dralis Pretessen" and should have updated to the account I paid for. Help?

Lite is paid, it costs 0.99c, how much did you pay? A full account costs $9.99. The difference between lite and free is lite works on PC too, but still with the same level caps. Also, did you link your account to an email address? If so, have you tried loggin into the client with the username/password you specified?

A better idea than posting in the forums is to submit a support ticket. See the support link on the side bar. But yeah, if you only paid the 0.99c, thats a lite account and has the same level caps as the free account.
