I created a support ticket, but I want to keep the email address I used initially.

But now I'm stick with some weird random generated username that makes no sense.

I put in a support request but I figured I'd ask here too.

I bought the iOS version and it auto-created an account with a weird account name AND a password ... i have no clue what that password is!

You can go to the Purchasing menu under Options and it will ask you to 'convert' your account. It asks for a new password and an email address.

Thanks I got it! Now Ive obviously got a strange account name I'd love to be able to change. Any way to do that? Also, with the iPad purchase I was under the impression you get a month of game time but my account says it expires in a few hours?

Pana, you can submit a support ticket with the name you want to change to and we can see if it is taken and then go from there.

Your account shows that you are good for a month.
Where does it say that your account expires in a few hours?

I did not choose this monstrosity either... Thankfully figured out the purchasing menu convert trick. I'm guessing all iOS folks will be in the same boat. I'm quite certain I never entered a password or gave an email address until doing the purchasing menu thing.

Edit: options > purchasing says my lite mode expires next month. Do I wait until then to upgrade?

It was Under Account info. Current display for me is :

ACCOUNT EXPIRATION:-1 days, -6:-31:-8 In-game time
