I just bought a slick gamepad for my phone. It works well in any game that supports a gamepad, but I am having a few issues in Vendetta.
The dpad does not work at all, and routes control to the left stick. The right stick is left/right inverted. I could fix it but that brings me to the second issue: when I tap on the option in settings to configure controls, I crash with the following LUA error:

This completely knocks out the game, I have to force close it.

My controler is a Beboncool, cheap but as I said before it works well in other games. It may be an issue of the makers not writing in support for all games, but the crashing when going to control options has been persistent before I connected the controler. I had to copy my configs from my previous device.

I appreciate you developers and I hope a solution can be found. I love to play on pc but it is hard on my hands. Controlers I am bad at but I can learn :p Anyway thank you for your time.

Do you have any plugins installed? If so, remove them all and see if the problem still happens.
