Gamepad setup challenge with Lenovo Mirage Solo VR
Hi there,
Is anyone playing VO, daydream version, on a Lenovo Mirage Solo VR Headset? I'm trying to use a ps4 wired controller with an otg type c adapter. The Lenovo head set comes with this crappy 3 button controller which is impossible to play any games with. When I open VO, and go into gamepad settings, not every button will accept the value i am trying to assign to it from the available drop down menus that appear next to each button/trigger, etc. Anyone else encounter problems like this?

Sounds kind of funky, I know, but have you tried using the Keyboard menu to bind buttons? I do not have a PS4 controller but I did have a similar problem when using my wired Logitech PS(one) clone, and had to use the keyboard menu to bind the buttons or they didn't seem to stick.
Also on the Axis there is the Calibration screen to change what the Axis do, and this again does not always marry up to what it says on the Gamepad page. I know under Windows a DS3/4 controller shows up as a DINPUT device, and actually needs drivers or a 3rd party software to function correctly, and with Android directly there are apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.locnet.sixaxis which need to be used to enable the full functionality too, but I also know these apps are not always required/supported depending on the firmware/android version of your device.
Happy shooting! (Or getting shot at)
