New phone won't play VO but should be able to?

I just got a 2017 ZTE Overture 3, Android 7.1 Nougat. When I launch VO, only the upper left portion of the screen displays, the rest is black.

Here are the specs:
Android 7.1 (Nougat)
1.1 GHz quad-core processor (CPU: ARM Cortex-A7)
2 GB RAM
GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 304

Is this phone not supported? Not a huge deal but it would be nice to hop in VO at work on my break.

Are you trying to run the regular free install of Vendetta Online, or the "HD" version?

The free version should work, at the very least?

I assume you're installing from the Play Store?

The Snapdragon 210 is a bit dated, but it should run the game.

If you continue to have issues, open a Support Ticket and we'll ask you for some more detailed information.

Just the standard free version. It's dated really? I got ripped off then, it's a 2017 model phone :/

It's intended to be an inexpensive "low-end" 2017 phone, which means they use less-costly components, which have usually been around for several years. It's similar to a higher-end phone from a few years ago. It does at least have a recent OS version, which is good.

Go ahead and open a support ticket if it's still a problem. We'll need to you to submit all your log data (particularly openglesinfo.log and errors.log), which are located in /sdcard/Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendettagearvr/files/

You'll probably want to install something like "ES File Explorer" to let you locate those log files. You could then email them to support@guildsoftware.com, or paste them into a Support Ticket.

I don't think this phone will work. Thanks for your time, I can use my tablet.
