If you are using the new Gear VR Controller with Vendetta Online, then you will want to go into the "VR Options" at the very bottom of the "Advanced Options" and change the first setting to "Look to Fly, HUD locked to ship". Despite the misleading text, using this setting the controller acts like a 3d flight stick, with your head free to look around. This is the most immersive and realistic mode IMHO and it works great to control the ship after just a bit of practice. The only issue is a lack of buttons - for which the solution is a bluetooth keyboard under your other hand. Now I just need to memorize all the keyboard shortcuts.

I am loving this game on Gear VR! By far the best game on Gear VR that I've tried so far and it rocks with the new motion controller :)

Thanks. Going to check this out. Between this new setup, head steering (which works well) and the gamepad analog stick improvements there are at least 3 great ways to play on VR now.
