Gear VR Controller
Howdy ya'll,
Been playing this the past few days and I can't seem to figure out how to fire the missile launcher (or operate anything in the large slot, for that matter) with the gear vr controller. The trigger works fine for operating the small ports (cannons, scanner, etc) but I can't seem to operate anything in the large ports.
Also, for something like the mining laser - when it's equipped to a small port it fires automatically when within 100m of an asteroid. I assumed the mining laser in the large port would be the same way but it does nothing. Basically, I can't seem to get anything in any of the large ports to work at all.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A bluetooth keyboard used in conjunction with the Gear VR controller will give you all the buttons you need. I have a small one (IRXON Mini) that fits in my other hand like a TV remote, with my thumb resting on the space bar (brakes) close to the easily found ZXCVB buttons for targeting and firing.
I have read elsewhere that bluetooth keyboards arent all created equally. Some only recognize 1 key at a time. Also, it can be harder for some people to use a keyboard with their eyes covered. I have a gamepad bt keyboard and a new controller and choosing the best method is a challenge. Theyre all good. I did find it necessary to mark key keys on the keyboard with stickers.
There is a way to do it on the VR controller without a keyboard...
I know this, because I have accidentally done it twice. Though I can't yet replicate it on purpose, so I am not sure what random order of buttons I pushed...
I will let you know when I figure it out, and can do it at will...
I know that this is not a super helpful comment, but I thought it was important to mention that it can be done.
