Just wanted to ask if the game for best performance requires Snapdragon chipset, would it run equally same on Samsung's Exynos too.

Thinking to upgrade my Note 3 to Note 7 (which will only be available to me in Exynos variant).

This game runs on a potato

The Galaxy S6 is an Exynos with an ARM Mali GPU, it runs quite well on that. The Note 5 is as well.

The Note 7 appears to be similar, but with a newer and faster Mali GPU.. barring any unforeseen driver problems (unlikely) it should be great.

Now, if you're asking about GearVR performance, versus traditional "2D mobile" performance, I don't know as we don't have a Note 7 yet. But I think it should be quite good.
