Hi VO

It's been a while since I was online and it's great to see not a lot has changed much but 1 thing I hoped to see change was the Android Licence cap... a while back it was actually said that the cap was set to be increased or scrapped altogether!
(I can't remember where but a surch will probably find it) But unfortunately that's not happend yet....

I wanted to bring this up again and highlight it to the Devs because I think the current system is a real turn off for some players.
I myself think a freemium style purchaseing system would be far more effective!

I have introduced a few of my friends to the game and they have been really enjoying it so far... until they reached the cap...
And now wonder what else there is to do....?

I would imagine most players main goal is piloting there own cap ships into battle or mega trading
But Unless an Android player pays the monthly subscription they are all unavailable.
But the whole monthly subscription is the turn off!
(I understand the Guys and Girls working behind VO need to get paid and I appreciate all the work they have done and are continuing to do for the good of VO)

My freemium idea would work based on the gem system.
Android Capital ships would cost gems.... a lot of gems......maybe they already do... but I would make gems the only main restriction on there purchase not the monthly subscription.
I think if some players thought that they could with time and patience through Combat / mining and trade save or collect enough gems to have there own Capital ships players would be more willing to put in the effort..
Rather than move on to other games that offer a cheaper experience.
All of us android players know the Android market, we see the games that are popular and how fast they grow...
Some of the biggest...WOT Blitz and WWR are freemium games.

If for example the main Restriction in VO was gems (Gems also still available free) The In game Purchases of Gems would increase.... as not everyone would want to spend months trading and mining to get the a ship for free... Impatience would be your friend.
I myself would be happy to spend to buy gems if I could use them to help get myself a Capital ship like a Teradon Frigate. but I can't because of the level Cap... so gems have no value to me....

If the ship would cost me 5,000 gems I would save a lot and i would be happy to spend a little..

While those who do wish to go through the grind day after day week after week saving.. are all a part of the game for others and everyone else..... that would or could have been lost!

Targets.. Friends.. Allies... Mentors.. Pirates... and enemies!

Back when I was F2P, I never had to buy gems, and I got up pretty nice. I never lacked gems, I should say.

ANYWAYS -

The way the game is, its been running for a long time now and hasn't had an issue.

as for capital ships: well, a few issues.

1) You cant get a teradon, not yet anyways. even with a subscription.
2) Gems don't exist when you have a subscription; to MAKE (not BUY) a trident involves Blood, Sweat, Tears (from various guilds I shant name, and your own). check VO-Wiki.com for more details, or get a subscription and get combat to level 5. that's when all the various manufacturing missions will appear.

Honestly, get a job or mooch off your parents; 10$ for a game as great as VO isn't much.
