Nice Nyscersul....made use of this already
Did it make sense? Easy to read?
Pretty much. We all have different styles, but a look at this and a chat to you certainly helped me with a significant improvement to my set up.
Nyscersul, what plugins do you have installed?
Tell me cause I want to use them

Plucking outstanding Nycersul! Meritorious achievement medal for you. Come back; we miss you.
Helped alot. Thanks!
this thread should be stickied
Keep this thread alive! Must have for android players!
Or you just need to play with a Xperia Z Ultra (6.44") and no problem for size of screen, no? Or maybe this interface is really better for all screen size? (sorry for my bad english)
Better for all screen sizes, and 6.44" is not really that big. :P
The thing that is important to understand is that DroidButtons is not itself a touch interface. It merely allows you to create touch regions on the HUD that can correspond to commands that you specify. If you choose to play with an Xperia or a Shield or a gamepad, the usefulness of DroidButtons is not negated. You can create buttons for commonly accessed features that might be otherwise tedious to access. For instance, if you have the Honk plugin installed, you can create a button that allows you to quickly and easily honk.
bump for a user that needed it.
please sticky this thread somewhere
I added a link to this thread to the DroidButtons page on voupr
Wow... Thanks for the kind words, i'm glad this has been of help. I dont look at the forums myself much, so i have not seen the replies as yet.
Hope this stays useful!
For my current setup, i am now using a Samsung sm-t705, its the s series tablet with an 8.4 inch quad hd screen.
This is the creme de la creme of android experiences on vo. I dont know how much people have played with high resolutions on vo, but it happily scales particles down to a single pixel. This includes weapons fire, and my pixels are so small, and the resolution so high (its the equivalent to each quarter of the screen is a 1080p resolution on its own), that i am able to see weapons fire during pvp with such clarity it is incredible.
On top of that, it has an octocore 1.9 gigahertz processor, and a triple core graphics processor, as well as three gigs of ram.
Now, its fun to have a handheld device that can be said to have more processing power than 80% of the pcs on the planet hehehe
But, in using this new device i have learned new thjngs about the interface building techniques.
The first, is that the ideal size for a control circle to cover the strafing or the turning is approximately 2-3 inches. Mine are two inches now. This overcomes fatigue whilst fighting a long pvp battle, whilst maintaining the accuracy that i believe is superior to even pc. These can be made large initially, and then made smaller over time whilst i learned to fight better.
I have also set it up so when you slide a thumb up, it will turn up, as this felt most sensible, but in fact the turrets controls become inverted. Since having my trident, i now have a third tiny circle on the left, above the strafe circle for turret controls, to have the turrets behave correctly and allow the other thumb to actuate the shooting controls on the right, if a setup is done via the full tutorial.
Since Draugath updated the db plugin to enable the change of pictorial representation of each button, i have done much customising on appearance, but the main use was allowing the shooting buttons to look appropriate! I have a large secondary fire button now hehehe.
I reiterate what i have said before, if anyone needs help with something, they need only contact me and ask. I am not online as long as i used to be, but more frequently. If that fails, my email is nyscersul@gmail.com.
My main drive in life is helping people, and if i can help people get to grips with the game enough to stay and enjoy it, then its my pleasure.
Fly safe, and if it shoots, kill it!
Hope this stays useful!
