Hi, this is just a bit of feedback from me, I don't know if any of this has been posted already, so feel free to lock this thread if it is already known.

First issue, I think there maybe a little bit of text missing from the crystal description:



Surely it should read "You may buy Crystal, or earn it through game play..."

Secondly, being an none touch Android user, typing with a controller is difficult, but its made even more frustrating because if you try to type the same letter twice, the pointer disappears on the first press, and sends "done" on the second press of the button. This makes chat twice as hard as it needs to be.

I understand that this is a PC title ported to other devices, and this is beyond a doubt the best title I have found on the play store so far but I think improving the virtual mouse control is quite important as more Android devices are released without a touch interface. Congratulations on what is done so far though!

+1 to the first point, that does seem confusing.

In regards to the typing, I can't think of any way to make the experience better for a controller. Ultimately, I think that if you're already sitting back from the device it makes sense to hook up a Bluetooth keyboard to keep by your side. Seems way easier on everyone.

Well I guess you are correct, except my device has no Bluetooth, It is a TV. The fact that pressing x also puts the controller into dpad mode is a problem when using the onscreen keyboard can be fixed I think, or give us another button to select key presses maybe OK. Also maybe using "space" as the default option for when dpad control instead of "done" might be a better option too.

Not sure if you understand the problem either. This is the Android forum, which means if you're using your TV, it would still be running Android which supports bluetooth devices - controllers, mice, and keyboards included. If your TV runs Android with no bluetooth support, then this would seem like a problem with your device and not something the devs should devote valuable time and energy to, considering 99% of the VO users use a PC or Bluetooth enabled device.

Fairynuff, I guess I thought that it would be trivial to fix. I mean changing to dpad mode when pressing the select button is kind of silly if I'm using the virtual mouse (its faster) i just thought it could be an easy fix.

But like I said, its just feedback. I'm not demanding anything to be fixed just for me.

What type of TV and controller do you have? It seems that your controller is non-standard if pressing X will put the controller into dpad mode. If your controller is in dpad mode you should be able to use the dpad and A to select letters in the virtual keyboard.
