Memory Lock App?
Hey guys, I got this new tablet the other day, LG G Pad 8.3, and it keeps the Home key bar open always directly underneath the screen for Vendetta. Because it is always right below my flight controls, I end up pressing Home or Back, during a mission, and losing all progress because it puts VO in the background and dumps its memory. I have noticed that sometimes when I reopen VO from backing out/Home and screen sleep, VO will still be loaded, but not very often.
Is there a recommended app to "lock" the memory Vendetta is using, so that I may always resume playing from background without having to completely reload Vendetta?

Interesting problem. Yes, it is unfortunate that Android keeps that bar visible at all times.
We may be able to add some sort of detection of Home being pressed and ask the user to confirm the action. If we are able to add that, at least you wouldn't have to reload VO.

That would be amazing. Another big problem with getting kicked out of VO is that I play at work sometimes, in my down time of course, and I can't walk through the factory staring at my tablet. I like to get it connected about 5 minutes before I take my lunch break, but I end up having to reload VO, or mess things up with random touches, while walking between my work table and break room.
Maybe some type of screen or input lock as well as detecting when a player has pressed home or back. Although being able to keep VO from being closed in the background would help a lot too. I read about a couple apps that supposedly do it. I just wanted to see if there was one the community preferred to use before I shell out the cash for a premium app.
I can already name several scenarios where a memory lock feature would work great. I get a ride to work, and closing to run into the gas station for a minute, only to reconnect immediately after. Walking between 2 points that I can't have my tablet out. Putting the tablet down to help my wife with something, while in the middle of a mission.
Actually, really just being able to resume missions when VO closes and has to reconnect would be a great fix. It looked like mine "tried" to resume one the other day. My mission board blanked out except for one mission, titled "Mission". The Info text gave me the option to abort, and all it told me was to look at Mission Logs. The Mission Log just sayd "Return to Sol II I-13 Prime Command", and didn't do anything else after I arrived at Sol II, I-13. Ended up having to abort the mission. It was mineral collection, I had 22 of 200 carbonic ore crates delivered before accidentally tapping the home button.

You aren't playing a single player game. You disconnecting from the server is seen as you logging out by everyone else, regardless of why you are disconnecting. Any missions that don't allow you to exit the game will fail if you do.
I do realize this. If you actually read my post, you would see that I am not complaining about failed missions from disconnecting, but rather VO being forced closed, and failing missions as a result. I am very well aware that I can't simple pause an Online world. Especially since, ya know, the name of the game is Vendetta ONLINE. Try reading the whole post next time, instead of making yourself look like a fool.
My phone does this too. You can make the game less likely to get killed off by the OS by turning down the texture quality (uses less memory), but then everything looks like butts.
