Your internet connection makes a big difference with this, as does which sector you're in when you log on. Some of the station sectors take a really long time on my phone on LTE and load a lot faster on WiFi

Hmm, that means the total data to be transferred is increased significantly with the updates in the last few months.

Either that or your cell carrier added a few hundred more customers in your area.

This seems to be an issue with the recent updates. I have also been experiencing unusually long Title screen and login load times when initially starting the game on my Acer tablet since the last couple of updates.
