MAID plugin on Android
Is it possible to toggle which ores are jettisoned with MAID?
On Android the gui does not display the full MAID window, I can only scroll the window down to see all the ores listed but cannot see, much less activate, the toggle button.
I also tried to change the settings.lua file by changing the local default from 'OFF' to 'ON'.
I then reloaded the interface but nothing changed in the MAID list. I also tried restarting VO completely but for some reason my changes to the .lua file did not register.
I have experimented with ExclisionMode and CombatMode but everything gets dumped eventually, combat mode just does it faster.
is there a command that would allow me to toggle which ores are kept?

I don't experience this using MAID on my tablet and I can see the entire GUI, however have never used it on my phone, and it sounds like you are having a screensize issue.
Unfortunately MAID is a plugin that was written by one of the players of VO, and has not been updated in a number of years now. Or at least since I have been playing since 2009/2010, before the time of VO on android.
So in essence it is surprising that A. It still works, B. It works on Android since it was written before VO was ported to the OS.
However since the creator of this plugin has not been active in some time, I'm afraid that we may never have a solution to your problem other then to say that to use MAID you may have to use a different device. I have looked for another plugin with the same function, however have not found one as suitable as MAID is, hence me still using it today.

Thank you very much!
You were absolutely correct. It was a screen size issue.
On my phone I went to:
Options > Advanced > Video >
changed “Scaling: Low” to Full
That allowed me to see 90% of the MAID window, enough to press all buttons.
It's difficult to play at that scale so after I make changes I revert back to “Scaling: Low”
It's a pain in the %ores% but worth it. It is a really handy plugin.
I also unchecked the box “Reset FOV and HUD Size...” I found that VO would crash after switching scaling.
Not sure if it was a coincidence but so far so good.
On my tablet (Nexus 7) there is no Scaling option but I experimented changing the “Visual Quality” to High and Highest and I was able to drag the bottom right corner of the MAID window to make it 90% visible.
I'm sure that I tried that at first but was unable to... however, it's possible that that was on my phone, I then assumed that it would be the same on my tablet, they're both Android after all. In which case I'm not sure if changing Video Options is even necessary on a 7” tablet.
Now.. if only those blasted bots would just stand still... I'm sure I might be able to hit one or two...

:-( Actually ignore everything I've said.
It seems that sometimes I can expand the borders of the MAID window and sometimes I can't. That's without changing any video settings, in either phone or tablet.
I don't know how to account for it

This is because the window is a proper dialog. The titlebar can be press-dragged to move the window and if you manage to touch the borders, you can resize the window. Unfortunately, if you press outside the window, the HUD regains focus, which raises it's Z-order to above the MAID dialog.
I have discovered that if you bring up the PDA and then call up MAID then the window is much easier to manipulate.
