If your android device is running 4.2 or greater, then the Playpad Pro needs a firmware update. The catch is that the firmware update has to be done on a device that runs 4.1 or lower using the Playground software. The Playpad will then work on 4.2 and higher. You can also send the pad to Nyko so they can update it and send it back to you. The number is 888-444-6956.

Personally, I'm gonna try and find someone with a 4.1 or lower android device and do it myself.

Ugh, that's awful. We'll double check this on our own 4.2 devices, and see if there's anything we can do to work around it. Thanks for the report.

This is MattyF. I dunno how my uid changed but at least this one works. I have yet to find someone running Android 4.1 or lower and my only alternative is to send the pad back to Nyko so they can update it. I recommend against buying one of these.
