so yeah. i don't know anything about getting vo to work on tabs/phones n such truck.

i have a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
i have it tethered through my phone via bluetooth (mainly because i already have easytether installed on my phone, and it works great to tether my laptop and tab simultaneously, and i'm too lazy to piss around with looking for another tethering app that doesn't suck the balls off a rented mule), and installed VO from the play store.

when i opened the app, it says that i cannot update VO without a wifi connection.

is there a link to the latest vo version somewhere that i can download via browser, torrent, etc.?

or... even more important question: is it even possible to log in with a bluetooth connection?

Oh, easytether is different than the OS' built-in bluetooth tethering. Doesn't it work by setting a proxy?

Doesn't matter, if vo detects no wifi connection it will spit its dummy out and quit. I got around this by setting up my phone as a wifi hotspot and used my data connection instead. My tab doesn't have 3G, and I used built in tethering.

You sure? I could have sworn I did the initial download on 3G with my old phone (unlimited data plan)

But the device itself doesn't have 3g, just the device its tethered to.
