Vendetta Online reviewed on Ouya by Massively
Anyone who is interested in giving their take on the game may want to check this out:

Justin Olivetti of Massively gave his first impression of Vendetta Online (along with Order & Chaos) on the Ouya. Fair warning, the article is almost entirely negative. Some of the things he writes in his summary read more like they belong in a casual forum post than a formal staff review. Admittedly, he did say this was his first experience with Vendetta.
The comments section is still fairly active (something like 50 listeners) so any feedback from some of our veterans would probably go a long way.

I got an ouya, and installed VO on it, and it is the suckiest version of the game I have played... Love the PC version (specifically linux), and the normal android version is playable once you get use to the touch controls, but the ouya version is literally unplayable (last I tried anyhow) due to the ouya controller being a piece of $h!t
It likes to do it's own thing, so it will spin/strafe/turn me without my asking... I cannot blame guildsoft for this of course, as the ouya controller is the piece of $h!t, but if the choice were up to me I would not have released at all on the ouya (at least not till they fixed their controller issues which is likely going to be never). The ouya just makes VO look and feel bad, very bad :(

So, do masivly pay its riters? Cuz if they do, their getting wripped of!
I've played Order and Chaos on my iPhone and found it to be an acceptable World of Warcraft-lite title
So the dude is 100% right, the intro to the game is crap. too much text box crap and it is hidden away instead of over layed
If you talked/typed less when making these missions it would probably be better
I added something he said to the Itan channel quote bot because it made me laugh: <OuyaReview> This was homework, and Vendetta Online was hosting a quiz at the end of class.

My Ouya controller isn't a piece of crap, and the game is still a pain to play on it.
His complaints are legit for the most part. The default controls are clunky, especially in the game menus. D-pad or left stick for navigating game menus doesn't work as expected like every other game on the system. Typing on the onscreen keyboard is miserable, and it uses the condensed station UI by default.
Plugging in a USB keyboard makes the game experience a lot better, but really it still sucks compared to the PC or even a tablet.
As for the wall-o-text newbie launch, I really do think the game could use a nice rigid training simulator like Descent 3 had. In Descent 3, the voiceover talked you through the controls of flying first thing, then gradually enabled one degree of motion at a time. Equipping your ship and switching weapons comes later.
