When I dowloaded VO for OUYA, the description said monthly subsciption to cost $1. Nothing about it being restricted or that there would be other subscription levels. Also trial was supposed to be one month. Instead after eight hours of playing it said my trial was over and I had to head to website. I did, and then there was only this $10 / month subscription available. Through extensive forum searching and reading I understand that from Google Play downloaded VOs get that LiteSub.

So my question is this:
Can I somehow get that $1 sub for my OUYA? Because 8 hours was way too short to determine if I'm ready to pay the whole $10 for month. Do I have to download VO for some other Android device and there make the subscription for my account, just so I can keep playing on OUYA?

I don't know about the lite subscription, but the trial is 8 hours. It's never been a month, where did you read this?

If you've got an Android phone or an iPad you can use that to buy a lite sub for your account and play on the OUYA.

We're waiting for Ouya to implement subscriptions.
