OUYA Suggestions
From what I understand, it isn't released yet, correct?
This thread's for suggestions, not bug fixes, right?
This one will probably help out a lot of others who try to play VO on the "Big Screen":
Fully implement UI control using a d-pad or arrow keys. Right now, the station interface's usability with the d-pad is spotty at best.

Bluetooth head set. Paired with Ouya start Vendetta go into options voice chat u can check & uncheck the top voice chat check box but at the bottom where you would select the device its greyed out. Dont know if it is not supported in the Ouya software yet or if its on vendettas end, but if i could check that bottom box hoppfully id find my BT headset in the drop down.
As roguelazer suggested, a way to save passwords would be nice so we don't have to enter them slowly on a huge TV-size on-screen keyboard.

+1 for password saving.
also on the ouya can we ditch the dual mouse pointer thing. I would really like to either have a fully navigable menu or just use the built in cursor/trackpad.

Well one of those is made by the game and the other by the Android OS. I think the only way you'd be able to not have 2 mouse cursors is to be able to turn off the joystick mouse emulation.
After more playing I can see a couple of more areas.
First chat is REALLY HARD. I don't know how to make it easier (other then grabbing a Bluetooth keyboard or Blue Board) but it REALLY SUCKS HARD to try to chat even a little from a OUYA. Perhaps some "quick chat" features, or something.
The virtual cursor lags a TON. the normal cursor is fine, and the game is fine, but the virtual cursor can really suck.
Background running of the app. It doesn't seem to work though I wish it did so I could pop in and out really quickly. I'm sure there is a down side to this, but ....
Honestly I think the entire PDA UI is in need of a reworking. Maybe just a "official" re-skin.
And finally come kind of "command" panel. Some of the commands like joining groups or other really frequent /slash commands are very very hard to do because of the lack of a keyboard. A command pallet or something.
A way to navigate the PDA sections that is faster. Like U + O = Navigation, U + Y = Inventory, U + A = Mission Log, U + DPAD Up = Full screen chat.

Yeah, chat is hard. I use a USB keyboard on mine to get around that.
As a bonus, it gives you a heck of a lot more buttons to bind to stuff.
Oh god please don't take over the D-pad for special functions. D: The logical use for it would be to navigate the menus/screens!

It was more about using two button combos. So for example U + Left Trigger = Mission Menu (there how's that for no DPad)
I agree with the idea of using some type of "quick select" for navigating the menus. That would be sweet. Having the right thumbstick scroll up or down when the mouse is over any given field would be an improvement.
If there is a way to increase the default dead zone for the roll triggers, I suggest doing so. My left roll trigger was twitching all on its own ever so slightly, which caused my ship to slowly roll left on its own after launch. Out of all the other Ouya games, Vendetta seemed to be the only one sensitive enough to pick this twitching up. Granted, this is on Ouya, but a new user wouldn't likely be astute enough to know the difference.
Vendetta really stands out in terms of graphics and scale compared to what else is being offered on this platform. With a few minor adjustments I would be surprised not to see this title rise to the very top. I'm looking forward to getting out my phone and playing a few missions with whomever else happens to be in the room.

Honestly, I'd prefer an easier way to enter absolute values for the deadzone stuff rather than bigger default ones. Bigger deadzones = less responsive controls.
The Joystick iup control used by the calibration screen is neat and all, but it's small and somewhat fiddly even when using a mouse. Trying to use it with the tiny touchpad on the OUYA is a great way to build up enough rage to smash a TV with your controller.
Anymore, I just edit the configuration file directly.
