Probably not, they have not invented that payment system.

I'm pretty sure that as long as you pay via the android client any payment method google play allow works.

I just payed for a month using my google wallet so why wouldn't it work?

It seems recurring sub's can not be payed by Google play balance. Full sub non recurring Time allotments can.

Maybe they should offer a block of time say 3 months on lite version that is non recurring to allow use of play balance other than full sub?
