I'm playing vo on my galaxy note 2 and the game ran flawlessly on the default settings. I decided to push my phone to its limit and maxed out all graphics settings. then I went into video and choose the highest texture option and choose full scale option instead of low. when I went back to the game, it was so much more clearer and detailed it was amazing, my eyes were bleeding at the level of detail. one thing I did notice however is that when there would be asteroids out in the distance, when I would move my ship to look at them, the asteroid in front of my ship would overlap my ship and it seemed that my ship was behind the asteroid when in fact my ship was more that 3000m away from said asteroid and my ship should have been overlayed on top of the asteroid and not set to disappear behind it. I noticed this happened with bases I would dock into but it wouldn't happen with some big cruisers/ other ships. when I reverted the scaling back to low in the options, this issue went away and my ship would be overlayed over background 3d images as normal. is there any way to fix this because it would be amazing to be able to playing this game with full scaling on my phone, the game looks absolutely gorgeous and is the best looking android I've ever seen on any phone with full scaling on. it seriously looks like pc level graphics and the crazy part it, my galaxy note 2 handles it perfectly fine with no freezing or overheating. thanks.

If you can take a screenshot of the problem, it'll be easier to determine what can be done about it.

The easiest way to take a screenshot on Android will probably be to bind the "dump" command to a system button like "search".

Otherwise the virtual keyboard will be in the way.

You can do this by typing:

/bind search dump

yeah, I was having issues taking screenshots while in vo but today when I launched vo and had coincidentally restartedmy phone, I had no wweird graphics glitch anymore. my ship would show on top of any objects in front of me, like its supposed to, rather than showing up behind objects in front of me. as a side request, can the devs include some kind of screenshot functionality while running vo?

That functionality already exists. You can use it like draugath described, or if you're on Android 4.0 or higher, try pressing the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.

yeah I tried that with my galaxy note 2 for Verizon but that didn't work. seems the only way I can take screenshots with my galaxy note 2 is if I Palm swipe my screen or take out my s pen and push it down on the screen and hold but neither technique works when vo is running :(

Huh, usually the power+volume thing works but it is up to the device's manufacturer in the end.
