I just downloaded the game on my xoom and it said I need a 200MB update file which is failing to download every time I try saying that my connection has timed out.

Is there a way to download a standalone version of the update files and manually install them?

There is no standalone install, at present. The HTTP download is required.

Have you tried installing over wifi, with the device plugged into wall power, and the screen timeout set as long as possible in Settings? This should not be needed, but I'm trying to come up with options..

Am having the exact same issue with failure to download on with Verizon connection on my Xoom or DSL LAN on Windstream. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over an over eventually I stop believing the progress bars meaning and start thinking it might maybe a stretching the truch a lil or maybe even lying. Please advise...... Will be standing by not even gonna got get a drink of water or nothing...... Please please hurry..

How much free space do you have on your device?

Are you installing from the Android Market?

We've recently updated the initial download files, so if you delete your VendettaOnline folder on the device, it will redownload everything from the web instead of trying to update the files using our updater. Hopefully that will work for you.
