game starts over when trying to Demo Tutorial Play
game sticks on home screen after start up, there are buttons for Create Account, Demo, Tutorial, Play, Help, and cancel. When I press Demo or Tutorial or Play it start downloading and starting over. I have a rooted Coby kyros running Gingerbread 2.3.3
Thanks for the report. At the present time, Vendetta Online is only officially supported on devices based on the NVIDIA Tegra chipset. The Kyros seems (?) to be based around a Samsung processor (for some of them, others have a Telechips CPU?), which probably does not support any usable texture compression methodology, and may not have enough texture memory to allow the game to run in un-compressed mode (the default fallback if the game can't find a supported compression standard). We should, however, have it "break more elegantly" and at least have some kind of pop-up saying that it won't work on the device.
Right now (date of this post), chip support goes like this:
NVIDIA Tegra 2 - The Gold Standard. Works 100%. NVIDIA tests their drivers with our game.
Qualcomm Snapdragon - May work, mostly, with some issues. Has compressed textures. Adreno 220 or better recommended (Snapdragon 8660, etc).
TI/PowerVR - Game doesn't support compressed textures, may be slow, crash, have issues. Will eventually be better supported, but not yet.
Beyond that I cannot currently make any promises of the game working. The "bargain" CPU/GPU world is totally chaotic, and well beyond the means of any single game developer to try and get these companies to support meaningful game technology standards, or debug their drivers.

I am using a brand new transformer and cannot finish updating however the same situation occurs for me. Pressing the demo or tutorial hard exits to home.
We've heard some reports of issues on some Transformers. Others are able to run the game just fine. We think it may be related to the Android OS 3.2 update. We're working with NVIDIA to try and reproduce the issue and find out what's happening, and to get a Transformer for our own testing.
