Attempting to download VO from the posted mirrors resulted in three bad checksums and a broken download. I'm going to cut the MD5 check code out of the archive and try to install without it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Edit: Cutting out the MD5 check caused it to decompress for a few seconds and complain about unexpected EOF, so at least it's right in saying the MD5 is wrong.

Heh. The person who set up this hardware is going to be strangled.
Long story short, I had to turn off DMA before any file >1MB could be written without corruption.
