running on Fedora 3
Hi,
I have tried to run Vendetta on Fedora 3.
But whenever I try to connect there is an error message "protocol version does not match server".
Any suggestion?

That usually means that you are trying to run an older version of the game.
When you start vendetta does it show an updater which then starts the game or does the game start directly?
If the the second is the case. Executing ~/.vendetta/update.rlb might help.

I usually hate these kinds of replies, so I apologize, but I've had no problems running VO under FC3. Of course, "running" is a little relative, because there are sound issues with my nForce2 chipset (wags finger at nVidia for their cranky OSS sound driver), but I don't have any problems starting up the game.
