vendetta crashes on start

When i run vendetta it starts, and then instatny crashes.. Here are some logs:

It also changes my video mode form 1280x1024 to some strange 800x600 (like in virtual desktop)
I just deleted whole ~/.vendetta directory and downloaded a new one, but it just didn't worked out.

Can you use other openGL games? Because that appears to be a complaint about drm and firegl...

scorched3d works just fine..
I haven't got any other sophisticated games, but you're right, that call trace appears very often (not ONLY when i run vendetta)

I just don't have any idea why it crashes :(

What driver are you using? Have you tried the open-source one?

roguelazer, 'radeon' drives don't have 3d support for 9500, or any cards based on r300 chipsets.
I do have the same problem with fglrx driver, but it does run fine with 'radeon'.

run glxinfo (or fglrxinfo)

and if it says it's using Mesa3D Indirect, then you don't have direct rendering enabled for one reason or another
