What directories does Vendetta use?
Hi,
I'm running Gentoo Linux and I installed vendetta with the vendetta-linux-installer.sh script. Later, I found out that vendetta is also in portage (Gentoo's packet manager) so I want to remove everything from vendetta now and install it again with emerge (emerge vendetta). So what files should I delete to uninstall vendetta? I can only find /usr/local/bin/vendetta now, and that file is only 437 412 bytes so I don't think that's everything, right?
Thanks for helping me :)

~/.vendetta

Yeah. It stores everything in your home directory ($HOME/.vendetta/), because it needs to be able to patch those files and I didn't want to bother with a setuid updater or anything like that. The final game probably won't put all game data in your home directory.
So there's really no point in using the portage version over the installer script version. They're the same.

Well what I've done, being the clever person that I am, was make a symlink in my home directory .vendetta to a VISIBLE folder on another partition (the partition where my files are stored), so it doesn't take up space. Sneaky, eh?
