So like... the Windows version has had Vulkan for years now right?

Could you please build one for Linux too? Even if it's experimental. I'll test it.

There's probably some Steam Deck players who'd appreciate this too.

Just noting that Vulkan support was added to Linux a few months ago. But, it's still early. There are problems on Intel integrated GPUs, for instance. I don't know what is "us" and what is "driver issues", but it requires more debugging time.

For now, the game defaults to GL4 as that's the most likely to render something coherent on the most greatest number of GPUs / drivers.

Vulkan is pretty solid on Linux so far. Runs better than either of the GL drivers on my AMD RX570. :)
