Unplayable on Steam Deck/SteamOS 3.3+
Hi game is not playable.. it does launch only under desktop mode.. (gaming mode doesn't work at all just a black screen i assume its due to Wayland) and the patcher/updater does work the game will launch but display only shows ¾ of the game display the rest you can just see the desktop i will try to get a screenshot of it if i can.
You are aware that VO has a native Linux client and steam is not needed right?
Im taking about the linux client.. Steam Deck's OS is "SteamOS" based on Arch Linux.. the linux client is not working/displaying correctly maybe due to the deck uses vulkan drivers idk..
Vendetta runs OK under Wayland. I use Sway on Archlinux and the game plays fine.
In my experience, it works better if you run it in a window and then "fullscreen" that window. Less problems with video modes and black screens.

How did you get around the libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 error?
I don't have that error.
Maybe you're missing a package you need? The updater in the beginning is the only part of VO that I'm aware of using GTK.
$ pacman -Ql|grep libgtk-x11
gtk2 /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so
gtk2 /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
gtk2 /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.2400.33
