Joystick +Shoot2 issue et al
This mornings download 1.8.392.1 ? appears to have brought a new present
Whatever I have connected to a firing command like +Shoot2 for example goes into continuous firing as soon as I select a target and wont stop even after the target is deselected.
(This of course drains my batts so I cant jump anywhere either)
I have tried about every combination I can think of and reset / rebound it several ways in game and out. Until this gets fixed All my ships are xc's :P
I should also note that I can no longer play in full screen as it cuts off all keyboard related input including my usb foot pedals so if I am not in station then I become frozen - the only way out is to kill the game and edit the ini file to change it back to windowed mode...
The generous part of me hopes this was an attempt to resolve a few of my bind issues...
The paranoid side of me ... well it does seem to be just me having issues .. :}>
Oh I should mention I just got done loading linux mint 18 Cinnamon

I tried loading a previous OS to no effect
I did manage to isolate the issue a bit better...
I bound a regular keyboard key to the shoot command and it does work normally
I can also use it to correct the continuous firing issue as well from the joystick.
It looks like the joystick input is not issuing a +Shoot2 0 command when the trigger is released.

392.2 Tuesday...
And all the sudden the problem goes away - I even put back my original config files and plugins...
The Devs say they haven't made any builds for Linux lately So I am at a loss as to what happened.
So unless the Devs wanna confess, this goes down as fixed due to PFM...Pure Fn Magic.

I have had issues (on android) where I started firing rounds for a good minute or two; it was always on undocking, but happened very sporadically. PFM suites the occasion quite well.
I dunno.
FYI, we did release an update today that updates the linux binaries.
