Black screen with rotating station on start (Debian Testing)
So, I wanted to take a peek what changed with VO in past year or so during this free weekend event, but alas, I couldn't get the graphics to work properly.
Upon start, all I get is black screen where loading screen used to be, and after few seconds, I see the rotating station on black background. Escape key exits the game, so I guess everything but the graphics works.
Any idea what could be done to fix this? I'm on Debian Testing with Nvidia GTX260 and proprietary driver version 295.40. errors.log doesn't seem to contain anything interesting, but openglerr.log has this in it:
visual x bf lv rg d st colorbuffer ax dp st accumbuffer ms cav
id dep cl sp sz l ci b ro r g b a bf th cl r g b a ns b eat
----------------------------------------------------------------------
0x31 24 tc 0 32 0 r y . 8 8 8 0 4 24 0 16 16 16 16 4 1 Ncon
Warning: GLX context is not Direct.
texmanage.cpp(92) : glGetError() returned 'invalid enumerant'
texmanage.cpp(92) : glGetError() returned 'invalid operation'
shaders.cpp(206): using ARBfp3.0
Other opengl games and 3d acceleration in general works just fine.
Any suggestions?

Nothing changed after .219 update. I forgot to mention that I can hear music just fine, and also the correct sound effect after I (blindly) type in my password. Any ideas?
I don't know what the problem is, but you could try fiddling around with the settings in your config.ini file until a dev notices your thread.
Interesting. This might have been better suited to Bugs. Have you tried any other versions of the NVIDIA driver?
