Crash on startup...
a1k0n? I think the distro would freeze on bootup if either the printf() functions OR the localtime() functions were broken...
i type vendetta in to a term and all i get is the Beta error box saying it has crashed.

What Linux distribution are you using? It's crashing in, like, printf(), or perhaps localtime()... Maybe the timezone isn't set right? Dunno. But it's trying to write a line to the log file with a timestamp.
Well, that's what's happening. Sounds more like an incompatible libc.
