vendetta wont load and just changes my screen resolution?
Hello! unfortunately I am going to be a total pain in the butt as I am new to Linux but not to vendetta, I have ran vendetta successfully on xp for a couple of years, I have a desktop that is now running crunchbang #! (which am loving!) and I thought I would open a new trail account and give Vendetta a go on it.
I installed it from file manager (having first turned on the executable check box) and let it do its thing, great. I installed it into folder /bin and the vendetta icon appeared.. pressed it.. updater worked fine, hit the play vendetta button and it set my display to 640*480 then did nothing :( <<< sad face.
As said any help would be appreciated I am a total newb to linux operating systems but my plan this year is to start to learn and quite frankly the best resource of geeks (no offense) is right here!
Thanks in advance Si

You can manually adjust the resolution by editing your config.ini file, which is located in your .vendetta directory. ( /home/yourname/.vendetta)
You'll want to chage the xres=640 and yres=480 settings to match your monitor. (like xres=1024 yres=768) Save the file and then start the game up.
Btw, you want to edit that file when the game is NOT running. Good luck!

That worked perfectly vskye thank you. loaded fine after that and is smooth and pretty, nice one :)
I have the same problem however whenI open my config.ini file there is no xres and yres lines :(
