now to run in a smaller window
Hi,
I have a dual head setup and would like to run this
very promising game in a window. Under "video options"
I switched from fullscreen to window, but I can't
change the size of the window, it still covers
both monitors with the crosshair split across the
monitors. Is there a way of setting the window size
to 1025x768 or something like that?
I also tried editing ~/.vendetta/config.ini
Thanks a lot,
Bernd

YOu need to use one of their resolutions. For linux, I believe it allows whatever resolutions you have an entry for in your XF86Config file. For example, if you have a definition for 1025x768, I think it will allow it. Not positive though... I do know max resolution=max x resolution defined, though.
Yes. While window-mode (as opposed to fullscreen-mode) resolutions could theoretically be arbitrary, they aren't, and the window doesn't resize properly.
In order to get it to work, you'll have to enable a resolution in XF86Config such as 800x600 or 1024x768, even though they wouldn't work correctly on a dual-head type setup. Then those resolutions will appear in the video options dialog and you will be able to change your window size.
