Voice Chat Fails to Initialize
My voice chat has never worked. When I try to start it, it gives me a message saying "voice chat initialization failed". The error messages seem to suggest that the game is searching for an Alsa device, but in the "audio" section of the gui preferences it says it is using the OSS driver.
My system:
Arch64
OSS4
Other audio applications, such as Mumble, work perfectly.
Errors:
In-game console:
Voice Chat loaded.
Voice Chat failed to initialize: no scHandlerID
Initializing Voice Chat with default settings.
Voice Chat failed to initialize.
Standard Output:

I'm not sure if anyone actually ran the game with oss4 before.
Might be a teamspeak or fmod issue. Even the beta ts3 client doesn't seem to work with oss4. I only tried it in in VirtualBox though.
Doesn't OSS4 have some sort of alsa emulation?
If you want a dev response you should probably file a support request, they don't check this forum all that often.
