i don't know why the game won't run, maybe because the update failed? how do i fix this?

Could do an "ls -l ~/.vendetta/drivers/gkgl.so" and post what it says?

Did you by any chance install the game with sudo?

yeah, sudo with the terminal.

You will have to change the owner of ~/.vendetta/ and ~/bin/vendetta to your own then ..or just delete those and reinstall without sudo.

I didnt install as sudo, and am having a similar problem... the updater gets to 32% and freezes, then restarts. havent been able to get to the root of the problem for my install, but so far no luck...

godz, that issue sounds different; I would make a different thread and take a look at the error logs.

I was able to play for a while, but the server update to 1.8.127 brought this issue back. its not creating an error log, just not completing the DL
