Object distortion past center of screen
I'm getting objects distorted once they are outside the center of my screen. Is this normal? I've got a wide screen monitor set at 1440*900.
The distortion is proportional to the distance from the center of the screen.

could you post a screenshot?
if you mean that fisheye look, that's normal.. otherwise it'd be like looking through a can.

I'm emailing the screen shots to support@ since I can't just droop them into the message and the last time I created an outside photo account, the images were too small to be useful. If you need them sent elsewhere, please let me know
without looking at the screenshots yet, did you select 1440x900 in VO in the Video Options?
For a quicker response, can you email the pics to ray.ratelis@gmail.com? (that's the email address I use for email with attachments so they don't fill up our mail server)

Yes, I have VO set to that, and the email has been forwarded.
Thanks :)
Thanks :)
I think he's just talking about the fisheye look. With larger screens it can get pretty bad sometimes.
Mapping round things to (square|rectangular) things would tend to leave some distortion at the sides...
