Hmm, well after grappling with X and the GeForce setup to get 3.2.6 running(Nv_AGP -> 0, rglow -> off etc), i've run into another problem.

After playing VD for about 20 seconds, i suddently get "connection to server timed out".. never had that before.. cant then connect for another few mins whereby it runs for another 20 seconds(ish) and then dies again.

Slackware 9 - X 4.3.0 - NV Drivers 4363 - Geforce2 Mx400 - T1

any ideas?

update on that, get connection to server timed out straight after it prints "Loading Objects" after the logon box.

I get connection to server timed out all the time, usually when loading sectors. I just reconnect and forget about it.

If it takes too long to load resources, you will time out. But once the resources are loaded you shouldn't have any problems.

surely the timeout is longet that 1/2 a second though! =)

It literally goes "Loading Objects" and then a split second later "Connection to server times out."

Its not occasional either.. every time without fail.. though there's nothing in the error logs

*shrug* not sure..

sorted this one, for some strange reason my system clock kept jumping an hour forward every other second and then jumping back.,,

i suppose to vd, the connection REALLY did time out =)

one question though? 20,000 points of repair for 0 credits?
