Installing a Skin on Ubuntu

How exactly do you do it?

I've looked for my vendetta directory and all i can find is the bin file that i've installed it into ( /home/mykola/bin) and all that has is the vendetta run file and the installer. there is no config.ini to be found.

I'm a linux n00b, I just started 1 week ago, but i'd like to have a different skin for VO

Where did you get it from? Could be that you got an older copy that's incompatible. The one on vo-wiki should be uptodate.

try redblood from the wiki or insurrection. I know mine definitely works.

k... i think i found the issue...

for some reason, skins won't work unless you put them in the "Skins" folder. So you would have to add

skin=Skins/skin into your config.ini file

also, that "test" skin on wiki is not updated and doesn't work

it didn't work for me without the trailing "/"

I had to add skin=Skins/skin_resurrection/ to my config.ini file
