hey guys i downloaded and installed vendetta, i want to know are there any online rpgs or strategies game that you would reccomend for linux, i've heard about ragnarok online, can that work on linux? links plz.....
anyways i installed vandetta and i go to the update utility, i type vendetta in the console but it says command does not exist, i go to the updater and click 'play game' but nothing happens, please help :(

There should be a folder in your home dir. /home/<user>/.vendetta
Go into that directory and type ./vendetta . That should work for ya.

I did what you told me and I got this:
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Fatal Error: Couldn't open window.

Uhhh, try to get glxgears running first, and then try Vendetta.
glxinfo should also work and display information.

im totally new to linux tell me what todo i dont know what you mean

type glxgears
if it doesn't run or doesn't exist, you have to install glx.
I'm not sure how to do that generally, but you also have to make sure you have video drivers that can do 3d.
Maybe someone else can help.

zetsui: your gfx hardware info would be nice about now ;) what card do you have and what distro are you running?
