Start up Error
This is what I get
./vendetta: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I found libgtk 1.2 using the package manager and installed it but still get this message. I THINK I installed glibc as well but not too sure if its version 2.2. It might have been 2.0 as thats all I could see.
Also , the installer seemed to run very quick, where does it put all the files apart from the executable, cos I can't see them in my home dir.
I'm using Ubuntu 6.06 by the way
Any help would be appreciated as I would hate to have to use the windows version.

The files are put in ~/.vendetta/
And, hmmm. If you're on amd64 (but not using the amd64 version of Vendetta for whatever reason), you might need to install the "ia32-libs-gtk" package. Otherwise, all you should need is libgtk1.2...

There is a amd64 version of Vendetta, see the sticky topic in the linux forum.
Edit: Just noticed there is an amd64 client on the Linux Download page too.
