I'm having an odd problem. Everytime I start VO the updater wants to redownload media.rlb which takes forever and a day. It started when I mv'ed .vendetta to a different name to test another odd problem I was having with the betas. When I mv'ed it back to .vendetta the updater started up with it's present oddness. Any suggestions on how to stop this?

Could the permissions to the folder have changed? maybe you should try chmod -R 777 ~/.vendetta ? (and if you get an error, its definatly the cause).

Also, is it possible you have bad ram? Yes, I suggest this lots as a cause of problems, but thats because bad ram CAN cause a lot of problems - run memtest86 or something to be sure :)

I have not clue what changed but my pc has stopped doing this. Thanks for the suggestions.
