Stuck at load screen. I can hit some keys and I hear some feedback noises. I can check the site it says im logged on, but I cant enter to play.
First time I have this problem. Anyone else?

i have no issues with the new update m. duncan. just a quick question. are you in intrios o-12 by any chance? that sector is crashed tonight so you may not be loading for a reason.

Which load screen? The initial splash screen or the sector loading screen?
Are you in window-mode or in fullscreen mode? Since you say you're able to check the web site, I assume you are in window mode unless you're using a second computer.

If it is stuck on the "Loading..." then yeah I have the same issue.

I have tried re-verting all of my graphics options from with-in the game and on my GPU. Re-booted my machine several times and even did a re-install to no avail.

Then I decided to create a new character... and it worked. However I still couldn't access my other character.

BTW, I submitted a bug report last night.

I'm on XP Pro, I did a forum search and found this topic. I didn't realize it was in the Mac forum when I posted.

raybondo: the load screen where you enter the game to get into the station or the sector you exited from. The last load screen. (After you enter password, choose char etc.)

I was off all day and just tried to log in again, same thing. Doesnt load into the station menu as it should. I also submitted a bug report last night.

window-mode or in fullscreen mode? --> both, I tested in both modes, same thing.
Since I can swith from window to fullscreen before I login I tried in both modes. And because I noticed that I get the menu sounds of the station menu and the music, I went to the site to check if my char shows online while I am stuck, and I am in fact showing there, but cant "get in" to play. :)

bobsin: yes I am in initrios 0-12, the station right at the serco wh to grayspace.

sc4r4b: hehe noway, I will not try another char nor delete my existing one, too long I worked on that hehe. I am sure the devs find a way to make it work. Seems like a small detail to fix, since I even get music and button sounds when I hit keys on the keyboard, but I see the loadscreen witht he planet instead of the station menu.

mdaniel - Yeah, I don't wnat to start over either. Anyway after reading the elaboration in your last post I believe I have the same exact issue. You should be able to bring the console down as well (~) and chat in IRC while stuck on the "loading..." screen.

BTW I tired to connect to my character using my workstation and I am running into the same issue...

Are you in the Initros sector? I was just talking to a friend who said he can't access that sector. Initros also happens to be the sector where I last logged off.

Initros O-12 was broke. It was just restarted.
Try again, please.
