10.3.8 Available
All ok so far..........
I'll be testing the new updates for the video drivers tonight.
I just updated to 10.3.8, and now the game is unplayable. It seems to be something in the driver/rendering. The game now suddenly hesitates unplayably - even in the station menus.
I didn't notice as I was ready to leave a station to continue botting - arrived in a sector and was annihilited by bots I should have walked away clean from.
Back in the station I discovered I couldn't even navigate the station interface witout waiting for the graphics to update.
I've tried all the basic maintainance, and my system seems to run fine, but Vendetta is unplayable. :o

I have not experienced this under 10.3.8.
Your mileage will vary.
See if you have background processes hogging your CPU.

Updated to 10.3.8 last night. Everything seems to be working fine. I have noticed
some improvements in framerates as well...

Tao Xian, what video card and cpu do you have?
Apparently, 10.3.8 includes fixes for the Full Scene Glow Effect issue, but those fixes are designed around the needs of World of Warcraft.
Have noticed that the login screen now 'pauses' for about 2 seconds after i hit enter or the login button.
But otherwise OK.

Uneven hesitations at transition points are hallmarks of heavy swapping. Hope they didn't carry the thrashing problem over from Tiger...

Curious, are you using ATI Displays and any OpenGL overrides? Some of them seem to randomly cause problems with VO and other games, notably the Performance slider and (sometimes) anisotropic filtering.

details seem to be clearer, and performance is about the same.
Although, after the recent crash, the frame rate has been poor at times

I am having trouble with 10.3.8 as well. The game was running very smoothly under 10.3.7 on my G4/800 iMac (with the graphics options set to high). After downloading 10.3.8, the graphics are very choppy. Anyone know how I can uninstall 3.8 and go back to 3.7?
Congrats wdtowle, you got the 1337th post in the Mac forum. :D
Whoh now dl'ing 10.3.8 :O, i wonder if it will work....plus i checked out the EnB pics, looks cool! except us mac's could not run it...
As a follow-up to a post i just made ... I used the Terminal to run /etc/daily,
weekly and monthly, and also removed the iShock startup item (since I'm not
using the iShock controller to play Vendetta). Things seem to be back to normal
with Vendetta. Not sure what did it, but happy.

iShock is broken in 10.3.8. Even the Macally 'fix' dont work.
I have a new iMac g5 1.8 20" with a gig of ram and 10.3.7 was very smooth with all option set at the highest. 10.3.7 now has occasional hesitations. It's still playable for me, but sometimes the hesitation, is accompanied by a crackle in the sound and a bit irritatiing. Won't stop me from playing though...
I am not sure what I did, but I ended up changing all of the video settings in the game up down and sideways, and now it seems to be working ok. My HDD was grinding a bunch while I was having my original problems... I and as soon as I rebooted after the upgrade I (it's pathetic I know) immediatley started VO. Was the new system cacheing/swapping/indexing things and slowing everything down and I panicked? I don't know. MacVoodoo. Things see to be working ok now, but I am running reduced graphics settings.
