10.3.4 resolution switching
Anyone seeing this? Below is the submitted bug report:
Machine Model: Power Mac G4
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.3)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 1.25 GHz
Graphics card Radeon 8500
os OS X 10.3.4
Lock ups continue. This is happening after switching resolutions between 1290x1042x32 full screen and 1290x960x32 windowed. If that doesn't crash the computer right there, it will at the next wormhole. This may be something new in os 10.3.4. While I can't go back to 10.3.3, I can try this under 10.2.8. I'll let you know soon.

============================================
Vendetta locked up the computer, kernal panic.
This happened twice, first while leaving a station.
I had to power down, could not force quit.
Restarted, found I was leaving the station. Locked up again after leaving the first wormhole.
I repaired permissions and that seems to have fixed Vendetta.
Now, Vendetta had been running fine under the 10.3.4 update. I had not made any other updates or software installations. So it looks like Vendetta altered its' own permissions.
Anyway, all is good for now. I'll let you know if it happens again.
Looking forward to the new universe.

I presume your desktop resolution is greater than 1290x960 when you try running Vendetta in windowed mode?
MacOS X doesn't allow windows greater than the desktop res to be created under normal circumstances so Vendetta tries to find the next lowest valid res.

Good news, this appears to have been a corrupted application. Unexpectedly, I had the same problem under 10.2.8, so I installed a back up of Vendetta and all looks good now.
