I downloaded Vendetta for 10.2.8 but the updater refuses to connect to the server. Remedy?

-Edit- btw, the computer is an eMac

never mind, found out there is a firewall on this computer.

hey. someone know how to get AROUND the firewall? its a school computer and since i never have anything to do in comp. class id like to play Vendetta :)

10.2.8 AFAIK is for G5's only.

10.2.8 is _not_ for G5s only. And no, I don't think there's any way around the firewall, unless you can convince somebody to change the rules. ^_^

where there's a will, there's a way! ill find out how.

try disabling the proxy.. it's all we do in my school to get around all their s***.
