OWC Panther GeForce 4MX Fix (Crash bug)
Yes. Those Itani are getting frisky again.
heh....are we?
Wow that really sucks.
POWER TO THE SAWTOOTHS!!
Panther won't let me play Vendetta either, and I really wanted to play it recently.

Update:
I've got a Sawtooth.
I've got an Nvidia GeForce 2MX
I've got Panther. Thus, I have no video, and Apple's said next to nothing about it, aside from a 'piss off' press release that directed me to Nvidia, Inc. for drivers, who helpfully directed me to Apple for drivers.
Myself and several others posted to the Apple web board about our problems. At the end of the list, there were about thirty of us asking for so much as an acknowledgement that a fix was forthcoming, and we thought that we might, through pure mass inspire a level of customer service above 0.
Then they deleted our topic, and sent us all anonymous, general warnings about conduct on the message boards. We were being polite and detailed in our bug reports, and those of us who were expressing polite frustrations were doing so because of Apple's seeming unwillingness to see a problem with the our machines' inability to function.
Then about an hour ago, someone posted a second topic, asking why the first had been deleted, and reiterating our request not to be ignored. We all pitched in, again politely, and again our topic was deleted, and a message sent warning us that further attempts to post in this vein would result in an IP ban, and notification of our ISP.

I was affected by the "10.3/Sawtooth No GeForce For You!" bug, which killed all 3rd party graphics cards on Sawtooth machines under 10.3. OWC posted a fix this morning, which involved downloading the GeForce.kext file from 10.2 to replace 10.3's version and restarting the system. It's a hack, but until something better comes along, it's the best I can do. Well, since I installed the update, Vendetta crashes on launch. I read the OpenGLerr.log, and apparently Vendetta's not seeing any renderer at all(!), and panicking.
Here's the link to OWC (my card vendor)'s page, detailing the fix:

Any ideas on a fix for this?

That's quite odd.
We don't have Panther here to test with, and I don't know what you could do to remedy the situation other than going back to 10.2.8.

Call Apple. Mention the machines that they gave you for development. Mention that your software doesn't work under Panther consistently. You'll have Panther within a week. I guarantee it.
And kindly ask for the dog tags...
:P
:P
Try turning off doextensions and see if that crashes.
Also, what does it say in your Console?

I'll try that when I get home (Right now I'm at work, on lunch).
By console do you mean
a) Vendetta's console (which I cannot access) or
b) Apple's System Console (which I can access).
If b, specifically which aspect do you wish me to report? Would posting some sort of exported log help?

Hey ray, I don't think it's Vendetta. The fix seems to have broken ALL of my OpenGL games. Every damn one of them.
ah, that makes more sense.
I meant Apple's System Console. That should show crash info if Vendetta's Bug Reporter doesn't catch it.
